Anyhoo, first off, my card for the Halloween swap over on CraftTelly:

The main image was a freebie designed by the lovely Jak Heath via her blog. I then augmented it with some stamped pumpkins from Sheena Douglass' first Create A Scene plate 'Village' which I embossed then watercoloured with Spiced Marmelade Distress Ink & layered on foam pads. The witch silhouette was also from that plate

Then I had a play with the inside too; bit of the ol' triple embossing & cracking:

This one was made for a work colleague last week - 2 pics, can you spot the difference:

....I went a little too free form when stamping out 'birthday' & I wasn't happy with it, specially as my new colleagues were going to see it; didn't want them wondering if I could stamp straight. And then a little light went 'ping' in single brain cell & I realised I could use some old Papermania self adhesive ribbon to cover it up & pretend I meant to say Happy 30th all along. And it looks nicer too!
Hmmm, seem to be having some issues with links & photos...I shall pop back later to see what they look like...
Edit - 14/04/2012 Err...later being several months later - I've kinda resolved the issues...but still don't like it! Oh well
