Past & current...

I have made a card this week, but I can't post a pic yet cos it's part of the Chistmas In July Secret Santa swap on CraftTelly. So I've picked something I made a while back and something I made last week.

Oldest first - this is a bookmark I made up for my son a couple of years ago, it's resurfaced from his bedroom so I thought I'd take the opportunity to take pics.

The bunny stamp is from a sheet of clear stamps in the Olivers Orchard range from BuzzCraft; there's no name to the stamps but they're the ones with the little girl catching a butterflies (sheet number 486). He was stamped in Vintage Sepia Versafine then quickly clear embossed. I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to watercolour him & Bundled Sage to ground him & also to faintly stamp the image in the background

This card was for Winspiration on Craft Telly as part of one of the Birthday Swaps I'm in. It was a little late cos I got side-tracked by real life (job interview), but it arrived eventually:

I stamped the imaged on acetate with StazOn - the stamp sheet is from the recent Kanban Stamps TSV on QVC ('Monarch Script and Butterflies). Then glittered some parts of the butterflies from behind. I cut the acetate so that it would form a raised 'hump' on the CraftWorks 6x6 Elegance card blank  so that some individual acetate butterflies could sit behind it & covered the workings with some self adhesive DCWV ribbon.

While I was re-aquainting myself with some the the downloads I've stored to my lappy, I bumped into a freebie digistamp from CuddlyBuddly which will be ideal for the card for my friend's son's first birthday. She's commissioned me to make one from her & hubby & I'm sending one of my own & I think I've got that one sorted too, thanks to free clipart from MicroSoft - hurrah! Just got to get stuff printed & promarkered.
